Staff members are chosen not only for their scholastic background and child care experience, but for their love of children.  Sensitivity to the needs of young children is a must in this "home away from home."  Our team strives to build supportive and nurturing relationships with the children in our program. This enables us to positively impact their development and learning. We aim to teach trust, love, empathy, how to enjoy a good book and how to find fun in overall learning. We work together with our families to foster each child's imagination, creativity, curiosity and self-esteem. This is more than a job for us at Kids World, this is our passion! 

 

Staff members must obtain: 

• State Police Clearances

• Child Abuse Clearances

• FBI Fingerprint Clearances

• Written References

• Child Care Experience Verification

• First-Aid and CPR training

• 24 hours of continuing education annually

• Preschool and Pre-K teachers must have a degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development
